When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This enables us to both fulfill and support the products you purchase.

When you browse our site, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system so we can better improve the experience for all our users.

SECTION 4 – DATA STORAGE

Our shopping cart solution is hosted and managed by Infusionsoft. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Infusionsoft’s data storage, databases and the general Infusionsoft application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Infusionsoft stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

NOTE: At no point during the transaction does Ascendant Financial Inc (or Ascendant Financial.ca) take custody or store your credit card information. SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

SECTION 7 – COOKIES

Ascendant Financial Inc., and Ascendant Financial.ca utilizes cookies to create a more customized experience for our users and customers. For example, we use a login cookie so members do not have to re-enter their username and password each time they return to our site We also use tracking pixels (i.e. Google Analytics) to aid in measuring and tracking where our website traffic is coming from and to track the performance of our site. Finally, we use remarking pixels from Facebook and Google to aid in customized, targeted followup advertising.

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any products or services sold unless otherwise specified in writing or required by applicable law. No refunds will be made, either in part or in full, for purchased products or services, including but not limited to: one-time purchases, subscription or membership fees, upgrade fees, add-on features, or under any other circumstance, unless a specific guarantee or warranty accompanying the product or service states otherwise. In the event that an error or defect is found in the purchased product or service, we will endeavor to correct the issue in accordance with our Warranty or Guarantee Policy. However, no refunds will be issued. You may cancel any recurring subscription or membership services, but please note that cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid or owed. Unauthorized chargebacks will be considered as a breach of the terms and conditions and will be subject to legal action. Any additional charges, such as shipping, taxes, or add-ons are non-refundable. We reserve the right to modify this No Refunds Policy at any time without prior notice.
