Why do I love my job?

I love our corporate culture! We all treat each other like family and share the same vision of helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial objectives. I also love that we are empowered to innovate, encouraged to speak out and allowed to make mistakes in order to grow in our roles.

When I’m not at work, you can find me....

Spending time with my family, traveling around the world, trying out new cuisines and singing Broadway and Disney songs in the shower!

How does what I do impact others?

In leading Client Services, I am everyone's go to person – clients, advisors and vendors all reach out to me on a daily basis. Whatever is going on in my day, I always try to be helpful and kind because how I respond may change someone's day. Everything we do, no matter how small has an impact on someone's life.

2 favourite things about your life journey so far?

  1. Getting to live in Europe as a young adult where I experienced things that I only used to dream about and read about in books as a child.

  2. Finally settling down in a beautiful country like Canada with my wonderful husband. I always say that I am now an expert at packing my entire life in a single suitcase and moving halfway across the world. If you need tips, I'm still your girl, but I am happy to report that I finally found my forever home!

What type of clients do you enjoy working with?

I genuinely enjoy working with all types of clients from all walks of life. Some may be easier to deal with than others, but having worked as a nurse for years, I came to understand that everyone I meet is fighting a battle that I know nothing about. If someone is frustrated or angry, I just try to be kinder and more compassionate.

What do I love most about IBC?

I love that it's a complete paradigm shift! Once you fully understand how it works, it's mind-blowing!

How did I get into IBC?

I was introduced to Jayson Lowe, the founder of Ascendant Financial and had the privilege of attending one of his seminars.
